Storm Large cartwheeled out of the gutter of her checkered past across a thousand punk rock stages and into her infamously googled stint on CBS’s Rock Star: Supernova. From there she went on to tour the world, singing in 17 different languages—and only behaving herself somewhat--with the joyful little pop orchestra Pink Martini. Now she tours the country with her own band, Le Bonheur. She brought Feinstein’s/54 Below to its knees in her debut performance last December, and returns with a new collection of tortured and titillating love songs; beautiful, familiar, yet subversive. Like Storm.
“She is an intoxicating and unmissable cocktail of power and vulnerability.” --The Times (UK)
“Storm Large delivers each song with an unwavering, exhilarating intensity and passion that pierces the air with a controlled recklessness sure to send shivers down your spine…” --Edinburgh Festival Magazine
“Large’s voice is a Swiss Army knife, and she spent her show slicing through the limits of the Great American Songbook. She touched on jazz, rock, show tunes and the orchestra’s classical presence, no genre out of reach of her flawless vibrato.” --The Oregonian
